I'm here, but not yet! This is my first post for PLAIN WITH SPRINKLES! I have always wanted to be my own boss and business owner. After some life changes that included moving across the country to Tucson, AZ - I found my love for wedding and event planning and production. It goes perfectly with my passion for collaboration, organization, and making people happy with a special event.
(The good looking one hugging me is my man.)
A little about us: We are preparing to move to Asheville, NC soon. We got engaged in December, and announced in February. We get married May 2017 in Richmond, VA. There are two cute pups that have found their way into our house - Ruka and Eos. They are more dirt collectors than dogs. Aaron and I are hikers, gamers, jokers, and eaters. I love to dance, and he dances because I love to dance with him.
I have studied and worked as a theatre stage manager since high school and graduated with my BFA stage management degree from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). I have lived and worked in Richmond, Wilmington, Boston, Washington D.C., Arizona, and just returning to NC but on the other end of the state. I trained under Colleen LaFleur for event production and planning from Atelier de LaFleur in Tucson. Atelier de LaFleur is the leading floral and event production company in Southern Arizona with many awards including several years in a row of being in "The Best of The Knot."
WHY AM I DOING THIS?
PLAIN WITH SPRINKLES is a very special way of event and wedding planning. Each person, event, venue, and vision is different and unique - so why shouldn't your event planning be too? My services allow you to custom build your own event with the services you actually need!
I am hoping that this blog will help with the planning process, navigate through relationships along the way, my business journey, and a little about my own planning since I am in the planning trenches for my wedding.
FUN FACT: I really, really like using exclamation marks and I have a really hard time with holding them back. (!)
